7 Fall Decor DIY’s

When fall arrives, does your nesting instincts  go into full gear?  Mine sure do!  Here are some easy DIY fall decor projects you can create at home to celebrate autumn and get the creativity juices flowing.  My favorites are the botanical pumpkins and the no-water fall window box.  I have even included one that I wanted to love but struggled with, the Mason jar leaf hurricanes, so you can avoid the same mistakes I made.  Happy fall!

  1. Lovely ideas Johanne, I really have to rein myself in this time of year or I will buy a truckload of pumpkins! I especially love the apple door basket and the pumpkin on a bed of autumn branches atop the urn. Happy Fall!

    • Thanks so much Jenna! That apple basket wreath is taking quite a beating with the army of workmen traipsing through our front door every day! That pumpkin is sitting on top of a fall wreath. Such a quick and easy arrangement.

  2. So artistic and beautifully showcased Johanne. You definitely have a flair for this type of thing. I love them all. I just heard on the radio yesterday that there’s a park in Philly that has peaked, any idea where that might be? I wish I had written it down. Tomorrow is predicted to be a nice day, perhaps hubby and I can zip up – I love to capture the fall foilage. Nothing has turned here quite as yet.

    • You are so kind Loretta. Not sure you’ll find foliage as glorious as Algonquin Park but the Poconos are peak this weekend and I expect Philly to follow in a week or 2. Valley Forge Park is near me so let me know if you come!🍁🍂🍁
